Feels like you are not in a major city and stepped back in time to an untouched part of Florida. Love what the owners of the island are doing to promote conservation and sustainability as well! Great launch location for paddle boards and kyaks. $10 per on weekdays and $20 on weekends and holidays if you bring your own or rent from the vendor. Get here early as the parking lot fills up. We were in by 10am and only a few spots remained. There is a full liquor bar, food truck and giftshop. Party-sized cabanas for rent with sinks and grills, and lots of riverfront adirondack chairs for seatting. Corn hole, sand volleyball, and often live music.

🌊Water & Activities: The calm river section is ideal for launching paddleboards or kayaks to explore up toward the spring head. On-site volleyball courts, spacious boardwalks, and shallow swimming areas make it a popular spot for meeting people and hanging out in groups.

🧋Food & Drinks: Without A Paddle Cafe serves fresh bites—including plant-based and vegetarian options—with meals ranging from $10 to $20. The Tooting Otter Bar features craft beers, wine, and canned cocktails/vodka seltzers starting around $6.

🩱👙Key Visitor Tips:
Entry & Parking: Admission is around $5 per person, with parking available on-site.
Arrive Early: The venue frequently reaches capacity on sunny weekends and holidays, so morning arrival is recommended.
